Do you know your A,B,C's?

When I started using creams I knew one cream and that was your basic moisturiser. Now you have a maze of products to choose from, AA, BB, CC and even DD! I look for an anti-wrinkle agent in my cream and sun protection but after watching a beauty video about these new inventions I decided to investigate, which cream does what?

So your AA (Anti-Ageing) creams....

Olay Regenerist - €32.00 // ROC multi-correxion night treatment  - €25.99
No7 protect and perfect - €25.00

Anti-ageing creams are used best to reduce and slow down the signs of ageing. Reduce the appearance of wrinkles and expression lines and to help with discolouration. To see maximum results day and night cream should be used. Various creams suit different ages. No7 protect and perfect from Boots is excellent for young skin while Olay and Roc suit mature skin. Anti-ageing creams should be applied from  your early twenties and ensure your cream has an SPF in it. We have all seen those cardboard tangerine sun bathers!

Now we have our BB (Beauty Balm) creams...

Clinique age defense BB cream - €35.00 // Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream - €7.00
L'oreal Nude Magique BB cream - €12.00

BB creams contain a moisturiser, primer, foundation and sun protection all in one. It makes looking fabulous quick and easy when your on the go. Clinique's cream contains 30 SPF and anti-oxidants for protection. It comes in three shades to match all skin tones and provides maximum coverage to hide blemishes. It has an age defense for extra benefit.  Maybelline is one of the largest high street brands and at €7 how can you go wrong. Coming in five different tones, and suiting younger skin, this cream brightens, covers blemishes, hydrates, smoothes, evens skin tone and protects with a 30 SPF. L'oreal's Nude Magique contains smart pigment capsules to transform this product into a foundation when it touches skin. It offers 24 hour hydration and protects with 12 SPF.

 Our CC (Colour Control) creams....

L'oreal Nude Magique CC anti dullness cream - €12.00 // Clinique Moisture Surge CC cream - €35.00
Chanel Complete Correxion CC cream - €70.00

L'oreal's CC cream works with your natural skin tone to reduce the appearance of dull, yellow looking skin. It has a featherlight effect creating breathable skin. Clinique 's CC cream brightens dullness, diminishes redness and leaves your skin with a youthful glow. Chanel's CC cream soothes, evens out imperfections such as open pores and dark spots and protects and prevents with a 30 SPF.

There is even a DD (Daily Defense or Dynamic Do all) Cream....

Julep DD Creme - €25.00 (to be released in June)

Julep are the only brand to create a DD cream which is to be released in June. 1. See you are never too old to learn! I was directed to your lovely blog by Claire and I've browsed through some posts it's lively, real life, common sense in bite size chunks. I follow several craft, home, cooking and children blogs and I enjoy them all with an occasional coffee.
Not that I am qualified to advise but stay real and don't get preachy cause I love you just the way you are.
